PDPA Commitment

PeopleCentral Pte Ltd takes its responsibility towards Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) seriously. We recognise the importance of safeguarding, managing, and protecting the personal data you have provided to us.

"Personal Data" is defined by the Personal Data Protection Act Singapore as data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which an organisation has or is likely to have access.

We will only collect your personal data in accordance with the PDPA, either directly from you or your authorised representatives, and/or through our third-party service providers. We will obtain your consent for the collection, use, disclosure, and/or processing of your personal data for the intended purposes, unless an exception under the PDPA permits us to do so without your consent.

The personal data we collect may be used, disclosed, and/or processed for various purposes, depending on the circumstances. These include providing our HR software and payroll services, communicating with you about updates and service changes, complying with legal and regulatory obligations, and improving our products and services.

To run our operations efficiently, we may disclose your personal data to third parties located in or outside of Singapore in accordance with the PDPA. These third parties will process your data in line with the stated purposes under the PDPA Singapore framework.

We respect the confidentiality of the personal data you have provided. We will not disclose it to third parties without your permission unless required by the PDPA or other applicable legal regulations.

If we disclose your personal data to third parties with your consent, we will use best efforts to ensure those third parties protect your personal data to the same standard we apply.

You may request access and/or correction of your personal data by submitting a request to our Data Protection Officer. We will process your request in accordance with the PDPA and deliver the requested data within 30 days, subject to applicable exemptions.

If any corrections are needed, we will follow the same process in line with PDPA requirements. A reasonable charge may apply for the handling and processing of your requests.

You can withdraw consent for the collection, use, or processing of your data as stipulated under the PDPA. Requests for withdrawal will be handled within 30 days, and we will cease any data use, collection, or disclosure as per your instructions, unless otherwise permitted by the PDPA.

Please note that withdrawal of consent could result in certain legal consequences. Depending on the extent of your withdrawal, it may mean we will not be able to continue with your existing relationship with us.

PeopleCentral will take all necessary steps to ensure your data is accurate, secure, and compliant with the PDPA when used for decisions affecting you or disclosed to third-party organisations.

We comply with all relevant PDPA regulations to protect your personal data, including the secure transfer of data outside Singapore where required.

In the event of a data breach, we will assess the breach and notify impacted parties within 24 hours of determining that the breach is likely to cause substantial harm.
